The Department of the Rocky Mountains is one of three supporting departmental support element organizations, within the MOWW, Region XIII field operational hierarchy. The Department is comprised of two Chapter operations; one located in north-central Colorado in the Denver metropolitan area and the other in central Colorado in the city of Colorado Springs. Along with the addition of the Greater El Paso Chapter (located in west Texas) under the oversight of the Department of the Rio Grande, the Great Salt Lake Chapter Cadre development operation in the state of Utah, five Chapters operating under the oversight of the Department of Arizona in the state of Arizona and two Chapters operating under the oversight of the Department of the Rio Grande in the New Mexico-Texas and Mexico international US-Mexico border region and the state of Wyoming to the north make up our Region XIII field operations. The Department of the Rocky Mountains provides administrative and operational oversight and support to two field Chapters throughout the state of Colorado. Both are geographically located along the I-25 north-south corridor throughout the state and in central Colorado.
